I think that the State should not be an active participant in the economic affairs of its country in connection to issues linked to making the wrong choices and issues associated with individual self-determination. The government can be prejudiced by political pressure, thus spend on unproductive projects that would lead to inappropriate results. The State involvement on matters linked to freedom often entails taking away a person’s decision on how to spend and act, which can be linked to economic issues.
