I think the state should be an active participant in the economic affairs of its country because they have monetary and fiscal policies that help guide the direction of economic events. The participation of the state is also significant because it determines the distribution of commodities and services in the economy. Additionally, the state has to be an active participant as it has the ability to reduce economic and social inequalities that might be prevailing in a country’s economy.
