The History of International relations began in the Peace of Westphalia in Europe around 1648. It was a stepping stone in modern state system’s development. Between 1500 and 1789, there was rise of sovereign and independent states as well as institutionalization of the military and diplomacy. 20^th century saw a number of developments in terms of international relations, among other developments in the century include, the world wars, great depression and cold war later. All these contributed a great deal in shaping internal relations.
