Defunding the police departments can lead to creation social services that are crucial in dealing with the poor and marginalized communities. My improving programs that deal with addiction, homelessness and mental health, these programs would help some of the challenges faced by the black community. Moreover, as the modern African American has a higher chance of facing police brutality, defunding the police department will reduce brutality cases for the Black community and focus on sensitive issues.
