Normally, the point of good reasoning is to start out at one place and end up somewhere better. The act of reaching the goal is increasing the degree of reasonable belief in the conclusion. The act of convincing someone about something, is quit hard. A conclusion is only reached when one party provides real evidence on the specific argument. The point of drawing a conclusion in an argument, is to make progress, however, in cases of begging the question there is no progress.

It is not easy to convince a person without real facts and reasoning with evidence
