Bible, Sade and modern natural scientists all view what sexually natural the same in terms of pleasure, designation of purpose, satisfaction, and procreation are.

According to the bible, natural sexual desires are part of our God-given physical existence. As with all God's gifts, he has designed them for a purpose. God creates human sexuality for his glory, the joy of his creatures and the propagation of the race. (Gen. 1:26, 27, 31; 2:18-25; 1 Tim. 4:4). According to the Bible, God defines what sexuality natural is and distinguishes it from unnatural: to be natural, a sexual act must lead to procreation. Thus Leviticus and Paul's Letter to the Romans state the homosexuality and bestially are unnatural because these cannot lead to procreation.

According to Sade, sexually nature should be viewed as sexual pleasure, which in his time was understood as inciting crime and perversion. He further admitted that prostitution was a way to allow men to satisfy their sexual needs.

According to modern natural scientists, they view sexually natural looks into sexual orientation as having several components, including sexual behavior, sexual identity, sexual attraction, and physiological sexual arousal. Yet, the majority of scientific studies focus solely on self-reported sexual attraction.
