Various professions have the legal and ethical oversight to control how different professionals function in their field. On the other hand, the information technology has an overarching standardization in place. For instance, the ability to anonymously make perfect copies of digital music has tempted many music fans to download copyrighted music for their own use without making payment to the music’s owner. Many of those who would never have walked into a music store and stolen a CD find themselves with dozens of illegally downloaded albums.

• No one should enter or use another’s computer system, software, or data files without permission. One must always have appropriate approval before using system resources, including communication ports, file space, other system peripherals, and computer time.
• Designing or implementing systems that deliberately or inadvertently demean individuals or groups is ethically unacceptable.
• Organizational leaders are responsible for ensuring that computer systems enhance, not degrade, the quality of working life. When implementing a computer system, organizations must consider the personal and professional development, physical safety, and human dignity of all workers. Appropriate human-computer ergonomic standards should be considered in system design and in the workplace.

Whistleblowing handles wrongdoing and allows justice to reach the depths of companies that otherwise may remain unexposed. Whistleblowing promotes honesty amongst employees that cultivates their dedication towards the company's goals and targets. Similarly, it promotes transparency facilitating clear and effective business communication. Whistleblowing is vitally important in protecting a company's customers and in directly protecting your organization through combatting fraud and misconduct. Additionally, whistleblowing cracks down on fraud and prevent this unnecessary loss of capital.

Implications of law - ethical law implications are to ignore biasness and perform their duties ethically. for instance a robber violates the law and can be convicted and punished for the crimes committed. the ethical decision of stopping the law break is an ethical implication in the state

Ethical implications of doing good - for instance, a young man helps an elderly person to cross the road is a good ethical implication. The good ethical implication acts in saving people and offering them assistance when in need.

Honesty as an ethical implication - The act of being honest and truthful is an ethical impact on people that is morally upright. in some instances honesty potentially hurt individuals but in most cases it saves in the worst case scenarios. The honesty people hold the virtue regardless of the consequences of their moral behaviors.
