Rarely can discussions about immigration conclude without hearing the phrase "illegal alien," or simply labeling undocumented immigrants as "illegals." The basic discourse of human being has accepted these words, although the phrases are highly pejorative and inaccurate. Whether accidental or intentional, referring a people as "illegal" is just not right. The supposedly "illegal immigrants" have simply committed an illegal act where they have crossed illegally with no requisite documentation and permission. However, they are not illegal persons.
