First, let us discuss the structure of the Earth. The crust is thicker at the continents and the oceanic crust is thinner. So not all the layers are homogeneous. And we can say the Earth is differentiated due to presence of several layers.

The dynamo theory suggests the convection in the core to be responsible for generating the magnetic field of the Earth.

Therefore, there are several manifestations of the dynamical processes in the body of the Earth.


We may also say that earthquakes sometimes change the parts of lithosphere, so the dynamical properties of the Earth may vary not very rare.
