Intentional communication encompasses all the deliberate words, actions, visual support, etc. that we consciously choose to include in any particular communication. For example, let’s say the person is selling advertising services, their intentional communication might be “As a world-class advertising agency, we deliver results that become sales for you”. Unintentional communication on the other hand includes everything else. It might be carelessly chosen words, or the location where the message is being transmitted, it might be facial expressions. According to experts, a significant percentage of human communication is nonverbal or unintentional.

An example of an instance when I had an unintentionally communication is a time I was in an interview then I pronounced a word the wrong way and I looked on the floor with feelings of shyness. The consequence of the communication was not good because it advocated to me failing the interview. If I had a chance to correct the unintentional communication, instead of  looking down after pronouncing a word incorrectly, I would rather blink to the interviewers and give them a smile.
