Yes, there is skepticism among Pakistani customers. The advertisement disregard is due to the presence of false and deceptive information. It is challenging to trust advertisements because most businesses advertise for the sole reason to promote their product and only give positive news regarding the product. An advertiser cannot criticize their product even if it has some falls, which is a reason not to trust advertisements. I trust offline promotions, such as newspaper advertising, because some are done by social media influencers who are just after money and fame and would provide wrong information on ads. Advertisers can choose to inform consumers of the shortcomings of a product equally as advantages to help customers make a well-thought decision and trust a brand.
