While he is waiting for his insurance claim to be assessed and his insurance to pay out, Nathi uses the bus to get to work, which was a great inconvenience. A few days after his accident insurance paid out the total value of the car, so that Nathi could get a new car. As soon as he got the news, Nathi started searching for a new car. He used various car websites like AutoTrader and Cars.co.za. He also visited a few dealerships where he had made appointments to test drive some cars and took home some brochures.  Nathi was looking so a small, fuel efficient car, with electric windows and safety features like airbags.

2.1. List the five (5) stages of the decision-making process and describe how Nathi would go through each stage when buying a car.

Decision making process takes five stages which are critical in coming up with the nmost optimum decision. Fourthly, he can make the purchase decision based on the best information about the car he needs and the choices from the two car yards. Lastly, Nathi should make a post-purchase evaluation where he weighs the car he bought and whether it meets the needs of a car he wanted.
