This is the first step of buying a product or a service ;this is where the customer identifies the product or service (which one he\she wants).

2. Information Search

This happens after one has identified the product or the service where the customer finds information  about the product or the service.

3.Evaluation of Alternatives

In this step the customer is comparing the available products or services and has the ability to make a choice.

4.Purchase Decision

This is the fourth step of buying a product or a service and here the customer has already weighed the options and is making a decision on which product or service to buy.

5.Purchase

This is where everything on the above steps has been achieved and the customer is buying a product or a service.

6.Post-Purchase Evaluation

This is the last step of buying a product or a service where the customer evaluates if he or she was satisfied or not  by buying the product or the service.
