Law is one of the courses that are difficult to maneuver. Generally, law students need to study intensively and understand the law. The video explains that becoming a lawyer requires intuition and the application of knowledge learned. The knowledge can only be attained through books and in class. Law students spend much time studying before they are declared lawyers. A lawyer plays a critical role in the life of an individual. It means there is a chance that with increased knowledge, it will be easier to solve the cases. The law needs to be at the heart of a lawyers. They need to learn the constitution, practice it and also use it as a tool to solve the cases. A good lawyer has the required knowledge, (Health, 2018).

The lawyer is a representative to an individual in court. Their int determines what the jury decides, a good lawyer needs to pass their exams. When the exams are passed, then they have a chance of being employed. Some of the lawyers work for private entities, and some of them work as public defenders. The video also talks about communication skills and the fact that a lawyer needs to be confident and they need to communicate effectively. When an individual is more concerned with the outcome, they have a chance to grow their career. Lawyers also spend the majority of their time in school. After school then they can sharpen their skills and make the much-needed change, (Health, 2018).

According to the video, a good lawyer does not just have papers. A good lawyer is talented, and they have it in them to be what they want to be. They are driven and ready to take every case as a challenge. Each day, more people are sent to prison. The increased incarceration rates are affiliated with the changes in the environment. There is a chance that when individuals have these characteristics, they are able to improve their output (Health, 2018). A majority of the people in the law field are not just individuals with brains. They are people with good interpersonal skills and with a passion for making a difference in the world. In the modern-day, many people are concerned with quality services. When a lawyer is hired, they are expected to deliver quality and at the same time ensure that the needs of the clients are considered.

In conclusion, a good lawyer is not just an ordinary person. The video shows that there are also other qualities that are needed outside the classroom. They have specific characteristics which make them stand out from the rest. A good lawyer makes calculated moves and takes time to understand a case before reacting. There are more lawyers today who have managed to penetrate the system and make the difference.
