Watch the video: 20 Min With A Pro- Megan McElligott, Marin Biologist
Marine biology refers to a branch of science that deals with studying living things found within the ocean.
Megan spends most of her time using computers to monitor the equipment and machines used in the ocean to refurbish or replace them. Moreover, she monitors and studies the spectrogram of audio-visual information on computers to study mammals-spinner dolphin's aquatic behaviour specifically.
Megan advised her listeners to consider being specific and committed to particular programs that interest them to develop their career. The biologist added that interest and passion should be a driving force to help one develop their career. However, she reminded them that funds and other resources are also fundamental to finance their efforts and projects to develop their skills.
