Employees Health and Safety Duties

As the chief risk officer in the institution, I would brief the recruits on the following health and safety responsibilities that are squarely on their shoulders: The first duty that would brief them about is their responsibility to ensure their health and safety. The safety of the employees in the line of duty is to some extent a personal responsibility where each worker must take good care of his/her health. I would also advise the recruits to ensure that their actions do not cause adversity in form of injuries or other health problems to others. The third duty which I would emphasize on the employees is their responsibility to strictly follow instructions from their seniors in the context of health and safety. This responsibility can be enriched through consultation about any health and safety issue that they don’t understand. The fourth duty of the employees is reporting any hazard, ill health, or injuries to the supervisor or the employer for immediate action to be taken. Lastly, I would advise the employees to always cooperate with the employer or the supervisor in the event of any health and safety issue to be worked on in the organization.
