Career development is a vital part of career management, ensuring that employees exhibit appropriate qualifications and experience to execute various responsibilities of a firm. This phenomenon is long-term and inclines managers to develop approaches that align individuals' abilities, skills, and needs with the career objectives. Contrarily, career management is the short term that ensures workers actualize the goals of a firm. The two phenomena have similarities since they both strive to ensure that workers deliver organizational goals appropriately. For instance, during career development, a manager obtains relevant information about workers to understand their areas of interest, skills, and abilities. He/she then provides career path information that allows the firm to place specific workers in areas they best suit. In career management, the leader coordinates, controls, and organizes other workers to follow a specific a path to actualize an organization's dreams.
