MTN affirmed the interest to invest in Ethiopia after the government opened the market for foreign investors, which before was a hindrance. Both Ethiopia and Angola have large populations which contributes to them having an appealing market and being an avenue for growth.

MTN should take advantage of these countries because they have less competitors and entry rules that are favorable. Both countries have a huge potential market that is worth giving a try.
