Cooperative learning is defined by the categorization of skills that each individual enhances through discussion, reciprocal teaching, graphic organization, writing, and problem solving while a team is the grouping and pairing of learners for the purpose of achieving a learning goal. It refers to an instruction method in which learners at various performance levels work together in small groups toward a common goal, complete a task, or create product. The learners are responsible for each other's learning as well as their own.
