As an HR manager for Tata Motors, I have a responsibility for conducting both external and internal analysis of the challenges that face the company. In relation to external analysis, I will have to analyze technological changes that have been introduced and might affect the operation of the company. In this regard, I will have to ensure that my staff has adequate skills and expertise to counter advanced technology in the industry. Also, I will have to analyze political-legal aspects that might affect production in the company, and buying abilities of the clients. Also, in relation to external analysis, I will focus on the social culture of the people across the globe, the economy of the country, as well as demographic and physical analysis, thus being able to sort out challenges at Tata Motors. On the hand, the internal analysis I will carry will analyze aspects like; strengths of the company, weakness, opportunities as well as the threats that might be facing the company thus being in position of making an informed decision that will enable Tata Motors deal with the challenges that might affect the effectiveness and efficiency of company operations.
