Personality traits are the factors that are reflected in a person behavior, mode of thinking as well as the feelings and attitude. Such characteristics are highly critical in determining how competent a person is at work. One of the areas that are affected by these aspects is the networking and relation with others. For example, an outgoing person may be more effective in areas such as customer service while an introverted person may be more effective in positions behind closed doors. If they are placed in a position that fits their characteristics, they will perform well, as opposed to when they are given a task that is not related to their character.
