Proactivity or proactive behavior is described as the behavior of the individuals which they have made on the basis of the anticipation. This is the behavior which is being done on the basis of change-oriented behavior during a course of the situation. An individual acts according to the need of the situation in advance rather than waiting for the thing to happen (Chiu, Owens and Tesluk, 2016). This activity helps in fulfillment of the requirements of the job.
The prerequisite of proactive behavior involves proficiency and the adaptability of the individual to the situation that may come in their way. Additionally, the extra performance of the employee’s behavior.
