The Chinese religion is composed of Daoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. The teachings offered in this religion are a clear indication of what one expects from the Chinese culture. The Chinese can be regarded as a multi-religious country. Freedom of belief in this country is regarded as a government policy, and the constitution guards religious activities. As a result, religion is defined as the defining feature for the Chinese as well as their national pride.  The religious beliefs of the Chinese have shaped them in various ways, including politics, medicine, philosophy, and material culture.
