The Port of Piraues

The Port of Piraues holds a number of natural harbors which was used by early Anthenians as a main port. It was selected by early Anthenians due to its proximity to Anthens, the protection it provided by its location and the geomorphology of its three natural ports. The port has three main harbors namely, Cantharus which is the main harbor, Zea and Munychia are located on either side of Munychian Hill. The port of Piraues is the main port in Greece, and the largest passenger port in Europe. It is also the second largest port in the world serving over 20M passengers yearly.
