Examine the role of women in both sagas, paying special attention to Gudrid and Freydis. Is it accurate to conclude that women held a significant amount of power and influence? Why or why not? (Be sure to frame your analysis in terms of Norse society.)
Mostly women were wives to the farmers and they performed daily tasks in the households.
Women did not held direct power influence as they were not directly involved in judicial perspectives. They had no legal or judicial responsibilities in the law to prosecute.
