"A barbarous people who live in isolation of one another" is this a true assessment of the people of North and West Africa
Barbarous People
A barbaric refers to an individual who is less civilized or primitive (Rifkin, 2017). Such people are perceived to belong to a specific social group like a clan, a tribal society, etc. Such barbarous people are mainly found in traditional settings where there is no significant civilization yet or where most people are primitive (Cole, 2019). The term is also used to refer to someone who somewhat cruel, war is like, or insensitive. Such individuals are always preoccupied with their own thoughts and they always isolate themselves. This barbarism nature is very frequent in West and North African countries like Niger and Chad respectively (Rifkin, 2017). In these countries, it is believed that anyone who bears a barbarous name is courageous and cruel, hence most west and North African people bear barbarous as their last surname or last name.
