A republican form of government is where the forces of government are concentrated within the citizens and exercised by the citizen directly or by members chosen by the people, to whom such authority is especially, assigned (Lentz, 2014). It is a mechanism where voters vote for elected office and making policy decisions. The elected members of the citizens must be willing to serve the whole people, not only a handful. This sort of government is based on the idea of citizens being ultimate and regimes being formed to protect their rights and privileges. Our representatives have been selected by the inhabitants to change the entire world, not just a couple of individuals.

           A federation of states with a republican system of government. The literal sense of the term "republic" applies to the constitution of a nation in which the government is comprised of elected officials and an elected chief (such as a president). In a democratic system, functions are split among the federal government and the government of the individual states. The federal government forbids corporations from centralizing authority under one agency or a single individual. Governments minimize incidences of electoral abuse. Therefore, in conclusion, the Federal government is better than the republican including bringing crucial governance entities at the local level and it offers an opportunity for citizen participation in some of the government programs.
