Expert's answer

Dorothy Vaughan

Dorothy faced a great challenge when she became the first NACAs black supervisor. However, she managed to tackle this challenge by associating and collaborating with other computer specialists like Sara Bullock, white on challenging compiling of books that consisted of calculation methods and formulas. Dorothy became a women's advocate and intervened for other groups who needed a raise and promotion (Ikhsano & Jakarudi, 2020). It happens after she goes back to school to further her education to greater heights. These actions and ways of handling issues show that she's intelligent and cares about other people's wellness. Moreover, she's positive about women's empowerment. From her experiences, I have learned to focus and be determined despite my gender and other people's opinions. I would be helpful at my workplace by helping needy groups who fear raising issues facing them and talking on their behalf.
