Between 1715 and 1815, Europe witnessed the industrial revolution. Individuals witnessed advancement technologically as a result become more rational. During this period, the war of independence was prevalent among many countries. This led to the transformation of the largely agrarian, rural societies in Europe into Urban industrialized ones.

From 1715 to 1815 the issue that greatly dominated Austria was that of succession. This was mainly focused on the Habsburg territories that were remaining that received their ruling from Vienna. The problem was that the emperor had no nephews but only nieces. Their enemies see an opportunity by a woman being on the throne. This results in a series of wars until 1972 when Leopold II decides that active intervention is required for the activities that are taking place in France. The Austrian Empire occupied the region that is presently known as Italy, Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Bosnia, and the environs.
