British Prime Minister David Lloyd George aimed to gain from Paris peace negotiations. He went into the Paris Peace negotiations prepared to agree with a compromise towards peace since most citizens in Britain cried for revenge on Germany for the First World War, including the hanging of Kaiser and also payment compensations (Maurer, 2019). Lloyd supported the killing of Kaiser and punishing of Germany for the start of war. He wanted to disarm Germany and to weaken its Army to prevent it from threatening Britain in future. He believed that Germany would give payments for damages caused by war and hoped to take its colonies and divide them among the victors.
