When Did Confucius Teach in China?

Confucius was a teacher and philosopher. Confucianism became the state philosophy of China during the Han Dynasty from (202 BCE to 220 CE) (Zhang, 2020). Confucius taught the fundamentals of government civil service exams. He taught on respect to authority and the existence of a strong government. These teachings were a crucial part of the Chinese culture and government. He was 30 when he started teaching and taught more than 3000 students.
