MIGRATION AND SETTLEMENT OF THE AMERICAS PEOPLE  

As the massive ice sheets covering America retreated, the first humans arrived on the Americas continent. They travelled on foot and by boats down the pacific shores in north west America from the north America and Asia. They moved to Siberia and Alaska and later the population expanded towards southern Laurentide ice sheet and spread through north and South America. However, there are so many models that cover on the migration and settlement of the Americas people some date to 10000 years ago while others 13000 years ago. The Clovis first theory refers to the earliest human experience as beginning about 13000 years ago.
