Introduction

         In 1914, following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, World War I, also known as the Great War, began. His assassination contributed to a war in Europe that lasted until 1918. World War I witnessed unparalleled amounts of devastation and carnage. By the time the war was finished and victory was declared by the Allied Forces, more than 16 million troops and civilians were killed. The Second World War also referred to as the Second World War, involved nearly every region of the world during the years 1939-45. The Axis forces became the major belligerents. France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, and, to a smaller degree, China, Germany, Italy, and Japan, and the Allies. World War II remains the bloodiest battle in existence, as well as the greatest war in history. Many were the main factors of World War II. These involve the consequences of the post-WWI Versailles Deal, the global economic crisis, the absence of appeasement, the growth of militarism in Germany and Japan, and the collapse of the League of Nations, (Betts,2017). 

Discussion

           In more than just Germany, WWI has contributed to a crisis. After WWI, Italy and Russia, which quickly became part of the Soviet Union, were still in turmoil, and there were still several other nations. The war pulled Italy's economy down quite deep, which could contribute to instability in every region. In the case of Russia, not only was their economy poor, but they still lost several troops. At the time of WWI, Russia was not quite mature, and this forced many of its soldiers to be killed. Italy wanted to quickly rebound from the war and Russia needed to rapidly industrialize. Both of these contributed to the conquest of these nations by certain really strong people. Places in Europe have been much like this. They wanted to heal from the First World War, and they didn't want another war, (Coccia, 2018).

           WWI was a major explanation for the Second World War. In Germany, Italy, the Soviet Union, and many other areas, WWI contributed to depressions, which in turn prompted influential people to increase in many different nations. At the beginning of WWII, some nations of which an individual of power grew each had any part. Appeasement was another thing that contributed to WWII. The League of Nations was meant to step up, but they did not, to countries that behaved out. When the League of Nations is called in to deter a government from behaving out, they stood by too much and accomplished little. There was nothing the League of Nations tried to deter these countries and they were scared it would start another World War if they intervened. What they didn't realize was that it would also spark a world war if they didn't face up to it, (Jones & Wessely, 2014).

           The death and devastation of World War I was so terrible that it was dubbed "the war to end all wars." However, the resolution to end World War I did not fix the world's issues and contributed straight to the next disaster, according to several historians: World War II. There were several significant triggers of World War II. These involve the consequences of the post-WWI Versailles Deal, the global economic crisis, the absence of appeasement, the growth of militarism in Germany and Japan, and the collapse of the League of Nations. The defeated Allied Powers gathered to decide the future of Germany after World War I. Germany will be coerced into accepting the Versailles Treaty. Germany had to take the blame for the war and pay compensation. Germany lost land and was banned from creating a major army, (Smith & winter, 2014).

           In 1931, the financial crisis struck Japan hard. The Japanese citizens have lost confidence in the administration. To pursue an answer to their economic difficulties, they switched to the army. To manufacture more products, Japan required its factories with natural resources. In China, a region abundant in minerals and wealth, the Japanese army occupied. China has been requesting the League of Nations for support. The League of Nations was ignored by Japan and proceeded to occupy China and Korea. The United States has been particularly worried for its colonies in Asia, such as the Philippines and Guam, as Japan has annexed other parts in South East Asia, including Vietnam. Japan feared that the United States military might challenge its expansion and invaded Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in December 1941. In Asia, World War II has commenced, (Ventola, 2015).

Conclusion

           Historians usually refer to several circumstances in the case of the Second World War that tended to lead to its eruption. These situations shaped the backdrop to which Adolf Hitler in the 1930s was able to rise to the rank of German Chancellor. Much later does the world discover that such intentions revolved from the core outward around Europe's methodical military takeover, a mechanism one World War II scholar has compared to consuming an artichoke leaf from the inside out. The conquest started in 1939 with the German invasion of Poland and six months later with the assault on France and the Low Countries. The quest for further "living-space" by Hitler for his empire contributed to the 1941 invasion of the Soviet Union. By March 1942, along with Japan's parallel advance through East Asia and the Pacific, Hitler's fanatical desire to invade Europe had thrown the globe into a conflict that would last nearly six years and cost the lives of more than 50 million soldiers and civilians: the biggest tragedy in human existence by far.
