Give an example of how US industries switched from peacetime to wartime production:
Before the world war, during peacetime, United States factories were producing small and large appliances, toys for children and, and automobiles. A month after the Pearl Harbor attack, the war production board was established under the orders of President Roosevelt. The board ensured that the industries in production during peacetime were converted to plants for manufacturing military equipment and weapons. This military equipments and weapons were used by the United States and also supplied to allies such as the United Kingdom.
