War Bonds

During World War I, the government issued saving bonds, to pay for the war these bonds were sold, hence the name “War Bonds”. President Roosevelt used two major methods of raising money; sales of massive amounts of war bonds and increased taxes and borrowing. The war bonds would aid parents to protect children from the Nazi oppression.
