Luther tone major reason was to make a change that would make things better the churches were looked up to various places to increase revenue for projects. He also abuses the practice of indulgences the practice of teaching remission of the punishment of sins and soul spending in purgatory a lot of was to spend. Which he leads to sold indulgences in Wittenberg, Germany outside of churches in 1517. Also the introduction of 95 Theses” the aim was to let the church know that there are accusations against the church about the indulgences. The tone was very respectful and formal while Luther challenges the catholic churches because he was increasingly bothered by the practice of granting sinners indulgences to buy their out of punishment for their sins.
