Pedro de Ceiza viewed the Incas as hardworking and united without despise towards another on basis of social class, hence his curiosity in the people. Despite being a soldier professionally, he developed interest in the the people ans culture of the South American region. His experiences in the Chronicles of the Incas function as primal in understanding the Inca evolution.
