The phrase is important in the United States of America as it is the people who are giving the government their powers. The founding documents of the United States include: The Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and Federal Papers.

The following is what the people of the United States have done a lot to rectify the violations of the founding documents inflicted by the government.

  •   Voting out those leaders and government officials who violate the founding documents of our great nation. We as the people we are also in the fore front in law making as we are also involve in this process.
  • We have demonstrated in the street in the United States to defend the right of freedom of religion, as well as racial and gender justice. We have made the government to treat the entire American equally as per the constitution.
  •  We have fought to live in peace and love by uniting together and helping each other to eradicate the poisoning of people’s minds, their lives, their freedoms by the government ,and we have replaced it with people like i.e. peace and love.
  • We have supported and defended the constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic by criticizing government’s rule of inflicting fear and demanding the restoration of the bill of rights and end of killing of black Americans.
