 Slavery is considered wrong because it is against the human rights codes in society. In many instances, slaves work under harsh conditions such as meager payments and strenuous circumstances such as working extra hours. The situations, therefore, deny them pieces of mind making many of them live unhappy lives. Additionally, some masters employ crude ways of instructing their slaves, such as corporal punishments that trigger misery living among slaves in different parts of the world. For instance, in the southern states, many slaves were found killed because of the harsh conditions they were exposed to in their working stations. According to the United Nations code of ethics, slavery is considered an exploit and degrade of humanity (Epstein, 2018). For example, many slaves feel lesser human beings because of the various ways their masters treat them. In the slavery epoch in the U.S, many slaves were denied significant rights such as education, thereby hindering them from securing white-collar jobs. Besides, many slaves were restrained from voting, denying them the freedom to select their favorite leaders in society.

Slavery is outlawed at least in every nation in the world, for it is considered a violation of human rights. Equally, it is against human dignity for it compels people to work without proper payment.
