b) Advantage was that laws and punishments were doled out consistently and without favoritism for special people or circumstances
c) Disadvantage was that laws and punishments were different for different genders and classes
d) Average citizen may have thought code was fair because it didn't rely on whims of a divine king; ruler of Babylon was not considered divine, so law was separate institution from religion
