Leaders are essential people in the community. The types of leaders are based on the form of leadership that they pose to people. In this case, there are several types of leaders; however, the vital ones include democratic leaders, where the residents of a given jurisdiction have a say in deciding whoever they want to lead. Some of the countries that have this kind of leaders include the U.S., UK, Canada, and France, among others. These kinds of leaders are important because they let the majority public choose the type of leadership they desire to have. The other leader includes authoritarian leaders who apply authority and power over a group of people. Paternalistic leaders utilize friendship with the people he/she is leading. Unlike authoritarian leaders, paternalistic ones tend to socialize with all people equally to instill freeness between the leader and the public
