In the second world war, the Americans believed that the British bombing was ineffective because the German airstrike was superior than the British force. The British attempt to use royal air force to Bomb Germany military force was a nice move, however, the results were catastrophic since Germany retaliated by bombing British cities and civilians inhabitant.
