During a long period of time Africa has been facing the problem with the lack of water resources and as a result there is an evident difference in population distribution in Africa. North Africa has 92% coverage of water resources that is why it is more populated. However, in Sub-Saharan Africa 40% of its population has no access to an improved source of drinking water from the region.
