Communication breakdown is the failure by parties to exchange information resulting into lack of communication.

Improper pronunciation often lead to a piece of information being misinterpreted to mean otherwise. My professor at the university had a problem with pronunciation and at one point pronounced google as " kuku". I totally lost my professor because the word " kuku" in my native language means an animal and I could not get the connection it had with remote sensing and GIS, the course I was undertaking.
