As a child, reading “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” by C. S. Lewis influenced my development because the book focuses on imparting moral principles for instance rectitude and honesty, compassion, bravery, and self-sacrifice, which are epitomized by various characters, human and animal, in the piece of art. For example, the novel talks of betrayal and forgiveness, Aslan is keen to deceive his family in return for the promise of power. Peter, Lucy, and Susan disclose the sign of forgiveness in their choice to love him regardless of his deeds. Aslan backs this theme when he requests the kids to at no time speak of Edmund's disloyalty over again.

Cartoons have exponentially transformed over the past thirty years in that they have changed into simple irrationality. Though there are still cartoons that signify certain lessons to impart knowledge. Based on my experience, watching Johnny Bravo was not pleasing as I had expected due to many sexual witticisms. This series, “Johnny Bravo,” on cartoon network consists of many sexual witticisms that I trust children under thirteen years old should not be watching. One instance is an incident where Johnny Bravo is deserted on an island and the local community there throws him into a volcano doing the entire "virgin sacrifice to the gods." However, the volcano throws him out, which is merely one of several instances.
