Into the Wild tells the exciting, incredible adventure of Chris McCandless, who leaves his home, parents, sister, and money to detach himself from society and live the life he wanted. Throughout his journey he travels by various states depending on what he finds in nature and the people he meets. The purpose of this method is to be prepared to his final destination, Alaska. For this he meant his initial trip was training a before the real thing.

In my opinion this novel is very enjoyable and the character is very inspiring. The path he chose, to live as he wanted, is something to have big respect with. However, I think that although he was brave, he missed to be careful, and that is what let him to his grave so soon. Maybe if his parents would have given him more attention to what he wanted he wouldn’t have left, and could have lived a happy life along society. Into the Wild made me think about things you want in life but you are too scared things you are scare of showing. This is where Into the Wild´s message gets to me, “if you want something, take it."
