The statement is true because, the academic pattern of schools is to prepare students with knowledge and skills necessary for their careers. They rarely offer learners a good social foundation since socializing which involves making friends is seen as a waste of time ,and also most institutions believes that having friends leads to ruining of good morals .Contrary to this, schools should also prepare students for decisions. Having friends is a way of making wise and critical decisions regarding one's career since student's can be able to share ideas.
