Discuss how Library 4.0 technologies are affecting current services of the academic libraries

Complex sensors, cloud computing, and advanced robotics are establishing intelligent services paving the way for making newer services available (Noh, 2015). These new services continue to develop interactive models for education to arise more efficiently. With library 4.0 technology, the work of librarians has become more accessible, better, and more robust. It has enhanced the security and safety in libraries and has increased human capacity, to study and access relevant data. Duties that took too much energy in the past, such as writing down data and following up in pieces of paper, are now more accessible through data entry that tracks a reader, a book, and relevant dates and balances.
