Protecting the Environment

A healthy environment is good for the survival of all living organisms. All living beings, including man and their environment, are mutually reactive, affecting each other in several ways, and destroying the environment is equal to destroying man's existence on planet earth (Eakin and Luers, 2006). According to Erdogan and Baris (2007), protecting the environment will save man from climate change which causes unwanted alteration in the natural system. Climate change is responsible for droughts, wildfire, floods, extreme heat waves, intense hurricanes, rising sea levels, and degraded air quality (Guinness and Walpole, 2015). To protect the environment is to save man from the environmental consequences of climate change. To protect the environment, we need to plant trees, manage our waste well, and conserve forest and soil (Eakin and Luers, 2006).
