Music has been an integral part of any community around the world for a very long time, and this perception will arguably be here for several decades to come. Music has been known to; breaking down barriers between cultures and their people, building harmony and confidence in the people of a given community. Above all, it has been approved to be a tool that impacts young people's skills right from the time of conception to death.

In this paper, we seek to explain the benefits of music to our local community. Music has helped a lot in building confidence and realizing harmony among people. According to Daffern et al. (2021), when we synch with others in the music, we feel a positive social feeling even if we are not in the same room. The virtue of harmony between community members is vital as developments thrive where there is peace.

Music increases cultural cohesion and acts as the fabric of any society. Music can shape potentials and character through the rapport it creates. Over the decades, some communities have had severe challenges, especially among school-going students who abuse drugs and substances. The barrier of substance abuse has been successfully broken thanks to students' music groups in our community. Regarding Higgins (2017), music members have got good cohesion between themselves and the community. Music has helped increase thinking capacity, and their characters are as well shaped; hence the community blossoms under such populaces.

From the above discussed and many other benefits of music to a community, it would be prudent to conclude that; the more we embrace music to bring us closer, literally or symbolically, the more budding for the improved social association, compassion, and community cooperation.
